It begs to be read again and again…only faster next time!
Praise for this book
Yee-haw! This is an uproariously up-beat "jamboree" counting book. The catchy, rhyming text and entertaining illustrations (roosters flaunting punk hairdos!) will encourage little learners to join in the counting fun, maybe even turning it into a sing-and-dance-along! Kids will be engaged in the silliness and laugh throughout, particulary w/kid-centered nonsense like "shake that cow poo off your shoe!" Lol, this is a terrific book!
This counting book bursts with energy, turning farm work into a joyful celebration. Crawford pairs rhythmic, playful text ("Cock a doodle groove," "Diggity jig") with bold, colorful illustrations that invite readers to join in. The book honors both the labor and the joy of farm life, showing children that hard work can be communal and fun. Perfect for kids who love movement, animals, and rhythm.
This was a surprisingly funny book, it had me laughing along.
This is such a fun kids counting book!! The rhyming is great and the pictures reinforce the number counting. It’s a very contemporary kids book and my kiddo loved it!
